Notes:		 Alexander Jefferson Keown, Jr. and Calvin Keown built similar houses at Benleo, KY (near Richardsville). They faced each other and were said to be exactly 1 miIe apart. The house where "Alex"and Susan (Runner) lived burned about 1925. Their daughter Della Ann, their grandson Cletis Ray Miller, Sr., and their great-granddaughter Georgia (Miller) Eadens are all said to have been born there even in the same room.  
Notes: Calvin and Marys (Runner) house still stands and was known as the "Johnnie Hines Place". It is now (1991) owned by Steve Lyons and his wife who is the granddaughter of Johnnie and Eunice (Runner) Hines and the great-greatgreat-granddaughter of Calvin Keown. Susan (Runner) Keown and Mary (Runner) Keown were sisters, daughters of Benjamin Runner . Alex and Susans. Della Ann married George H. Miller , and Calvin and Mary Janes Mary married Sam Miller . John Melvin Keown was a brother to Calvin and Alex. Their father was Alexander Jefferson Keown, Sr. John Melvin married Sarah Jackson Adair, and they were the parents of Lillie Ann Keown. Lillie Ann Keown married William Paul Hines. Their daughter was Laura M. Hines , and their son was Johnnie William Hines (chart, p. 5V). Calvins house has remained property of his descendants .
